“Visions of Space and Time” is a project developed in the l Campaign Management course which is included as a part of the study program “Print Media Technologies” at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (Stuttgart Media University). The purpose of this course is to create an allround campaign as well as a physical product.
This semester we are working in cooperation with DAS KAUFHAUS, which owns several social secondhand department stores in and around the area of Stuttgart.
What did we do?
First of all we started with a concept and created a corporate identity including fonts, colors and samples. This is how “Visions of Space and Time” was born. It is all about a bright future that can only be made by people taking action. We continued planning a photoshoot, the production and printing of our image book. We received support from the British author Andrew Weale and the professional photographer Peter Steinheisser. The whole process also included Social Media, this website, the calculation of the entire campaign and – for the first time ever – the creation of a physical shop concept, where we were supported by the retail agency DESIGNPLUS. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Volker Jansen, the printing engineers and our customer DAS KAUFHAUS, this amazing campaign was born.
Who are we?
The participants, a total of 61 students, are divided into six separate groups. In those groups everyone is able to put in their contribute individual skills, knowledge and interests. Therefore, there is a management, marketing, image book, shop, production and calculation group.
